Dr. Jacobsen discovered his love for animals and veterinary medicine while working as a kennel assistant.
From there, he went on to complete his undergraduate studies at LSU before earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine.
His professional interests include emergency medicine, diagnostic imaging, and client education. One of the things he finds most rewarding about veterinary medicine is having the opportunity to turn a difficult day into a great one for both pets and their families.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Jacobsen enjoys spending time with his two children, his dogs and cats, and is also a true card enthusiast.
